Why Leaves Fall by Mia Perron

Writer's picture: Little Thoughts PressLittle Thoughts Press

Red square with graphic of fairies and white text that reads Why Leaves Fall by Mia Perron

When autumn comes ‘round,

leaves fall to the ground,

and it seems like they’re not even trying.

But there’s something behind it,

I’ve worked hard to find it.

It’s magic that there’s no denying!

The fairies on leaves,

they float with the breeze.

Their young, tiny forms are a flyin’…

They pull and they push,

leaves fall with a swoosh.

It’s true!

Do you think that I’m lying?
